This big-hearted and high-spirited musical is based on the true story of a son who reluctantly inherits a shoe factory. Trying to live up to his father’s legacy and save the family business from bankruptcy, he finds inspiration in an entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. The unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible. Written by Harvey Fierstein with music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper.
