Apple Days Harvest Festival - Terhune Orchards

Come to Terhune Orchards for a day of family fun on the farm! What better way to celebrate fall than with Pick-Your-Own Apples and Pumpkins! Enjoy pony rides, pedal tractors, wagon rides, visit the Corn Stalk Maze, hay bale maze, adventure barn and our barnyard of farm animals. Children can paint their own pumpkin to bring home.

Children's Charity Fun Run/Walk & Fall Festival, Snipes Farm

This is the 6th year that Extreme Fitness has hosted this wonderful 5K fun run (untimed) and 1 mile fun walk, raising money to support the farm's summer education camp for children. The 5K will take you through the entire 100+ acre organic farm. You will move by the corn maze, past the vegetable and wildflower fields, through the open pastures, up and down the apple orchard rows and finally through the wooded trail! The event coincides with the opening day of the farm's fall season, bringing 80+ vendors to the site!

Walk of Hope and Awareness, Carrier Clinic

Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic will host its annual Walk of Hope & Awareness Day on Saturday, Sept. 21, in support of Carrier’s many programs to treat mental illness and drug addiction. The public is invited to take part in this special day of inspiration.

??To donate or register online visit the Walk of Hope’s official website at or call 908-281-1615 for details. Sign-in for walkers opens at 9 a.m. The 1-mile walk around the Carrier campus begins at 10 a.m. ??Walkers are invited to bring their dogs so long as those pets are on a leash and are vaccinated. Individual participants are urged to aim high and raise more than $109 (one dollar for every year of Carrier’s existence). Walkers can also form teams, inviting others to join.?

Museum Day , TCNJ

Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. This year, Museum Day celebrates the Smithsonian Year of Music, an institution-wide initiative celebrating the Smithsonian's vast musical collections, and the Sarnoff is joining in on the fun with a variety of sound-related museum events to go with our temporary exhibit, In the Groove: A Century of Sound. The museum, and all exhibits, will be open from 11:00-4:00, with a variety of events happening throughout the day.

Bordentown Fall House Tour

Take a self-guided tour of private homes, historic sites and places of interest throughout Bordentown City. Explore the splendor of Bordentown's historic architecture in these private homes and historic sites, many of which date to Revolutionary times! Restaurant row and many of the boutique shops along Farnsworth Ave. and throughout Bordentown will offer great discounts to ticket holders! Some of our host houses will be offering snacks and refreshments. Musicians will be stationed at select tour stops, and Plein Air Painters will display and sell their paintings of tour sites in Old City Hall. Don't miss this great event!

The City's shuttle bus will be available for tour participant use. Tickets are $20 (non-BHS member) or $18 for BHS members. Tickets are available at the Friends Meetinghouse (302 Farnsworth Ave, Bordentown), Shoppe 202 (202 Farnsworth Ave) and online at
