Sourland Spectacular

Sourland Spectacular: The event will offer challenging routes for serious cyclists, as well as shorter alternatives for more casual bikers. Routes of 5 to 63 miles will begin and end at the Otto Kaufman Community Center (356 Skillman Rd, Skillman, NJ 08558). Ticket price includes lunch and dessert. Register online and receive a free tubular bandana. Register before August 1 and save $5.

Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 9 AM on Saturday, September 7 for a walk led by Brad Merritt and Jim Myers at the Forsythe NWR at Brigantine. "The Brig" offers great viewing access to migrating shore birds, terns, raptors, waterfowl, herons, egrets and the occasional uncommon bird. Look for the Brigantine Forsythe NWR sign on the left, and turn left onto Great Creek Road. Meet in the parking area.

Fall Native Plant Sales, D&R Greenway Land Trust

Placement Classes & Boys Open House, Princeton Ballet School

Placement classes for students with some prior training will be held in the Princeton studio on September 7 as follows: ages 7 to 10 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.; ages 11 and older from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Boys Open House from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Students with no prior training and children ages 3 and up are welcome and need not take a placement class.
