Stewardship Crew, Spring Lake at Roebling Park

One particular species we will be paying attention to is the Japanese Knotweed, this particular perennial can grow up to 15 feet tall, has bamboo-like stems and thrives in disturbed areas. Once this plant is established it can grow rapidly, where it out-competes native plants and causes the natural habitat and ecology to diminish.

In so doing, you will have the opportunity to discover the richness of silence, and to deepen your appreciation of the many layers of meaning in the liturgy. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and centered.

Even if you’ve never tried mindfulness or meditation before (or if you’ve tried and you think you’ve “failed”), you are welcome to join us.
