he 2019 Mercer Oak Award Reception will be held at The Nassau Inn and Peter J. Travers, managing member of Field Chase LLC, a diversified investment firm in Princeton, will receive the Award annually which is annually presented by the Princeton Battlefield Society. He will be honored for his partnership, leadership and support of the Society's mission on behalf of the Princeton Battlefield and his dedication to the history and meaning of the American Revolution.
Funds raised will be used to further the Society's preservation and educational programs and services. In 2018, Raoul Momo, co-owner of the Momo Restaurant Group, was the Mercer Oak Award recipient. Instructor Debbi Gitterman, from YogaStream, has been practicing yoga for 15 years and counting; it is her passion. An Iyengar baby for years, she quickly fell in love with YogaStream’s core-based flow, with its emphasis on precision and alignment. Her approach marries refinement of poses with a splash of fun to connect mind, power, and community.
In case of inclement weather, the class will be held inside the Art Museum. Free and open to the public.
