PB&PA Breakfast Meeting

Ross Hart has invited the members of PB&PA to hold our Spring Breakfast Meeting at his Bicycle Shop. Join us on Thursday, April 25 at 8:00 AM for some coffee, some networking and check out Ross's bicycles and his facility. Bring lots of business cards and promotional materials as well as a door prize and join other business owners from the Hopewell Valley for some business before the business day starts.

Passport Day Services, Lawrence Senior Center

Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami-Covello will once again host special passport service days for residents of Mercer County. The County Clerk, together with her staff, will visit municipalities throughout the county to accept U.S. Passport applications on site.

Although walk-in applications are welcome, residents are encouraged, but not required, to call (609) 989-6473 to reserve a time to have their applications processed and photos taken, if needed. Every effort will be made to assist residents who have not made a reservation. Additional staff members from the County Clerk’s Office will be on hand to assist residents.

Westminster Conservatory Noontime Recital Series

The Westminster Conservatory at Nassau series will continue on Thursday, April 25 at 12:15 p.m. with En famille, a program designed to observe the centennial of the death of Claude Debussy. The recital includes a spoken monologue, readings, and selections from Debussy's music for piano, performed by Westminster faculty member Mary Greenberg.

The recital will take place in the Niles Chapel of Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street in Princeton and is open to the public free of charge. Please note that to avoid a conflict with Holy Week observances this recital takes place on the fourth, rather than the usual third Thursday of the month.

Eat This, Not That! Healthy Food Swaps, McCaffreys West Windsor

This presentation will show you how easy it is to include healthier choices in your diet – without missing a beat. Learn how to trade out sugars, processed foods and saturated fats for more wholesome products and ingredients. Come ready to compare whole foods and packaged foods and discover new products on the store shelves. McCaffrey's prepared foods manager will also be on hand to whip up a delicious dish for all to sample.

Taiye Idahor in Conversation with Chika Okeke-Agulu - Princeton University Art Museum

STAND Against Racism Thought Provoking Talks

2019 Stand Against Racism campaign will kick-off with Thought Provoking Talks, an special event where speakers share inspiring and poignant accounts of the racism they have experienced in their lives. Our keynote speaker will be Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson. The Assemblywoman will be joined by speakers Elizabeth Williams-Riley, President and CEO at American Conference on Diversity, and Lauren Lalicon, the Policy Director for First Lady Tammy Murphy. The event will be followed by for group discussions.

Princeton Friends School 470 Quaker Road, Princeton, NJ 08540 Join parents and children in 3rd grade and above (younger at parental discretion) as we watch award winning documentary on the topic of screen time, tech use and negotiating balance. A panel of experts will be available to lead a discussion including child psychologist, neuroscientist, technology expert, pediatrician, optometrist and school educator.

Must register, but tickets are free. Donation at door of $5. will help offset cost of film licensing. Light refreshments will be available for sale.
