Open House, The Bridge Academy

The Bridge Academy is a 501c3 not for profit specialized school for students with language-based learning disabilities, like dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and attention deficit disorder.

Open Houses are held monthly for parents and professionals who wish to obtain more information regarding The Bridge Academy for a possible placement or referral for a child. Information will be presented regarding The Bridge Academy curriculum, the admissions process, a tour of the school, as well as the opportunity to ask questions.

All Open Houses begin at 9:30 am at the school. If you are interested in attending one of our Open Houses, RSVP to (609) 844-0770.

Info Session, Interfaith Caregivers

Interfaith Caregivers helps recruit, train and match volunteers who provide non-medical support services to homebound elderly and disabled individuals free of charge. Services include shopping, errands, transportation, friendly visits, light indoor/outdoor chores, minor household repairs and more. Learn how you can become a volunteer and work directly with clients or how you can receive free services.

Mercer County Connection, located 957 Route 33 in the Hamilton Square Shopping Center. Programs are free but registration is required. 609-8980-9800

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Chef Ashley Power will be creating a savory chocolate pizza when she steps in as Liberty Hall Pizza's guest pizzaiolo on Tuesday, February 12th from 5 to 9 p.m. Guests will be treated to a Chocolate Short Rib Mole Pizza with cotija and mozzarella using handmade, small batch bitter and semi-sweet chocolate from local favorite Pierre's Chocolates in New Hope.

There are vulnerable and at-risk youth in our community who must overcome the effects of abuse, neglect, homelessness, chronic illnesses, and more. At LifeTies, we provide a nurturing, safe environment for these youth to heal, learn and become equipped with the tools to work towards the brighter, successful future that they deserve.

Would you like to help us make a difference? We are in need of volunteers with diverse skills to assist with helping our youth to meet their potentials. Share your passions, your talents, your hobbies, and your experiences. And/or become a mentor and engage in building a caring, nurturing relationship with individual youth. Be the caring, positive role model that you already are.

Volunteers help us continue to work towards our mission: Nurturing wellness and self-sufficiency in vulnerable youth, young adults and their families.
