On Tuesday, December 4, Technology Consultant Douglas Dixon will return to The Computer Learning Center at Ewing to present his 2018 fun choices of "Top Tech Gifts for Holiday Giving." Dixon, who has been covering new holiday gadgets in the Princeton area for over a decade, will train his focus on tech gift ideas for both grown-ups and kids.
The program will begin at 2 p.m. in the Ewing Senior and Community Center, 999 Lower Ferry Road. It will be preceded at 1:30 p.m. by "Q's and A's with the CLC Faculty" when the audience can seek answers to their computer-related questions. Both programs are free and no registration is required.
Dixon plans to discuss and demonstrate some of this season's harvest of "cool holiday tech products," as well as explore recent modifications and advancements to existing gadgets. "I'll look at some STEM learning toys for kids, and also cover tech's progress towards Jetsons-like goals, including the universal translator and personal drones."

Executive Chef Tim Amoroso of Newtown's Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar will be taking over Liberty Hall Pizza's wood-fired brick oven when he steps in as Guest Pizzaiolo on Tuesday, December 4th. In keeping with the "farm to fork" ethos of Harvest, late fall harvest ingredients from Tim's pizzas are sourced from several local farms. Chef Amoroso will be firing up two pizzas: Short Rib with Horseradish Pumpkin Seed Pesto, Kings Kreamery Smoked Cheddar, Kennett Square Wild Mushroom, Roasted Fennel, Blue Moon Acres Micro Leek, Pickled Mustard Seed; and a vegetarian-inspired Black Mission Fig, Yonder Fruit Farm Pear, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Shaved Farms at Doe Run Black Swallowtail (a Manchego cheese) and Lavender Balsamic Drizzle.
Liberty Hall Pizza is located inside the Canal Studios Complex at 243 North Union Street in Lambertville, New Jersey.
