Bart Luedeke Center, Rider University, 2083 Lawrenceville Road - - www.rider.edu

Featuring "Tears of the Moon," "Pas de Deux" from "Ephemeral Possessions," and "Airs." $15-$20.

Fulfilling his long-held desire to create a work to music by Beethoven, Kirk Peterson created Tears of the Moon on ARB dancers in 2013, when he felt he “now had the maturity and experience as an artist to explore the possibilities of dance to the master’s work.” A delicately emotional piece, Tears of the Moon features a range of movements – from highly technical, quick footwork to a lush and emotional pas de deux. Pas de Deux, from Douglas Martin's Ephemeral Possessions, is set to music by Samuel Barber.

LOCK HAVEN, Pennsylvania – A fresh and brilliantly told memoir delivered by a cult favorite comic artist is marked by gothic twists, a family funeral home, homosexual angst, and great books.
