What Everyone Should Know About Lyme Disease, Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation

The Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation will host "What Everyone Should Know About Lyme Disease" on Wednesday, June 20th from 6:00 p.m. -7:30 p.m.. The program will be held at Hunterdon Regional Community Health, Paul C. Wirtz Building, 215 Route 31, Flemington, NJ. The community is invited to come and learn about the latest strategies for avoiding Lyme Disease and managing tick bites when they occur.

Elizabeth L. Maloney, M.D., will be the guest speaker for this informative event. Dr. Maloney is a family physician from Minnesota. Her current focus is on tick-borne diseases education and policy. She is the founder and the president of Partnership for Tick-Borne Diseases Education, a non-profit organization providing educational programs and materials on tick-borne diseases for medical professionals and the general public. She is currently a member of the Pathogenesis, Transmission and Treatment Subcommittee of federally mandated Tickborne Diseases Working Group established by Congress in 2016.
