This event honors individuals who are working to combat domestic violence and sexual violence within their communities. This year's honoree is L.Y. Marlow, author of Color Me Butterfly and Don't Look at the Monster. Marlow is also the founder of a national domestic violence prevention organization called Saving Promise.

Foundation Collegiate Academy Spring Concert

On Thursday, May 24, at 6:30 pm, at The College of New Jersey’s Mayo Concert Hall, student musicians from Foundation Academies will offer a free concert to the public.

“Three ensembles will perform,” said Ryan Kiple, Music Director at Foundation Collegiate Academy. “Two orchestras, each comprising over 70 students from grades 9 through 12 will play. In addition, our resident Junior Quartet, and the Foundation Collegiate Academy Youth Orchestra, featuring over 30 high school students who have passed an audition to gain a position will perform.” The music selections will range from neoclassical works through contemporary ones, all of which were chosen by the students.
