Annual Spring Golf Classic, Community Options

On May 21, Community Options, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing housing and employment support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its annual Spring Golf Classic at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch served at 11 a.m. The shotgun start will kick off the golf festivities at 12:30 p.m. At the conclusion of the round, a dinner and award ceremony will be held around 5:30 p.m.

Meeting, Indivisible Princeton

The key to changing federal policies in the coming years will depend on whether the U.S. Congress can be flipped from red to blue. In New Jersey, there are at least four New Jersey districts that are currently Republican that could be flipped in the 2018 election.

Find out what you can do to help at the next meeting of Indivisible Princeton on Monday, May 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton. The meeting will feature speakers from the Princeton Community Democratic Organization, Indivisible Central New Jersey and other groups.

Science on Tap, Triumph Brewing Co

Science on Tap is a monthly public science lecture series at Triumph Brewing Co. on Nassau. This month Professor Sabine Kastner will discuss creative ways the human brain processes visual inputs to produce stunning stand-ins for reality.

Tickets cost $6 and include light appetizers and fountain drinks.

Tickets can be purchased through Venmo (no fees) and Ticket Source ($0.60 fee that comes out of the $6). Triumph's full menu of food and draft beer will be available for purchase.
