Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society at 8:00 AM on Sunday, May 20 for a free, guided birding trip led by Pat Sziber and Franta Broulik at the Ted Stiles Preserve at Baldpate Mountain, a Mercer County Park located north of the New Jersey Washington Crossing State Park. Directions: From Pennington-Washington Crossing Rd. (Rte. 546) go past Washington Crossing State Park to the intersection with Rte. 29. Turn right and go two miles to Fiddler's Creek Rd. Turn right and go 0.2 miles to a parking lot on the left. Contact Brad Merritt at (609) 921-8964 for additional information or the evening prior in case of inclement weather.

Financial Wellness Seminar, What Keeps You Up at Night?

The last session for this season's series of free Financial Wellness seminars will be held on Sunday, May 20. No sales pitches are involved and there will be plenty of time for questions. Financial advisor Mike Leahy leads a discussion on "planning for the expected" and "preparing for the unexpected." In today's complex world, many of us are dealing with similar financial issues and stresses.

Light breakfast will be served and childcare will be provided. Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:45 AM, in the Lounge at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street. Free--registration is requested but not required.

Host 8th Annual Wheels Rodeo, Princeton Police and Princeton Human Services

This year, The Princeton Police and Princeton Human Services will host the 8th annual Wheels Rodeo. The event will be held from 10 am – 1 pm on May 20th at the Community Park Pool Parking lot located at 400 Witherspoon Street Princeton, NJ. The event is open to all Princeton residents and is free of charge. It will include a bicycle safety check, free helmets for children and a bike road course for kids.

There will be free refreshments for participants: hot dogs and cold bottled water, provided by McCaffrey’s Food Markets. A brand new bicycle and a Community Pool family membership will be raffled donated by the Princeton Recreation Department. There will be bicycle accessory giveaways. Members of the Princeton Police Department, Princeton Fire Department and Princeton First Aid Squad will also display various emergency tools and equipment.
