2018 Mercer County Teen Arts Festival

The 2018 Mercer County Teen Arts Festival will be held Friday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the campus of Mercer County Community College in West Windsor. The Teen Arts Festival is a comprehensive arts education program open to all Mercer County public, private, parochial and home-school students in middle and high school, grades 6 through 12, ages 13 to 19.

The festival, under the direction of the Division of Culture & Heritage, spotlights the work of hundreds of Mercer County teen artists and involves scores of volunteers and more than 40 professionals serving as critics. The festival will move to the gymnasium in the event of rain.

Pinot to Picasso 2018 - A Benefit for the Arts Council of Princeton

The Arts Council of Princeton's signature spring art and wine fundraiser, Pinot to Picasso is set for a 60's throw-back theme,Vinyl & Velvet 1968 in celebration of the arts organization's 50th anniversary year. Friday, May 18, 6-10pm at the Technology Center of Princeton, 330 Carter Road, Princeton.

Attendees can expect a salon-style exhibition, gourmet tastings from local restaurants, wines from around the world and dancing. One of the highlights of the evening is the "Tombola," an Italian-style lottery where every ticket holder wins an original work of art. Preview the artwork at the Pinot to Picasso Exhibition at the Arts Council's Pop-Up Studio in the Princeton Shopping Center next to Metropolis Spa & Salon, 301 N. Harrison Street, Princeton, NJ. May 9-15, 2018, with a special Preview Opening Reception on May 10 at 6pm.
