Free Computer Program, Computer Learning Center

Tuesday February 6, 2018
2:00 PM

Storing your digital life on a PC or a laptop has never been easier. However, keeping your treasured memories, family photographs, emails and contacts, digital entertainment, and crucial documents in one place also means that you are in constant danger of losing it in the blink of an eye. Viruses, ransomware, mechanical failure or even a house fire can destroy your records. Laptops can be lost or stolen! That is why protecting your data with regular backups is more important than ever.

David Shinkfield, an instructor and Director of the non-profit Computer Learning Center at Ewing, will discuss options on how to back up that vital information during a special presentation, "Backing Up Your Windows 10 Computer," to be presented on Tuesday, February 6, beginning at 2:00 p.m., in the meeting room at the Ewing Senior and Community Center, 999 Lower Ferry Road. The program, which is free and open to the public, will be preceded at 1:30 p.m. by an open question and answer session during which audience members will be invited to present their computer questions. The program is the latest in the Computer Learning Center's "Computer Tips and Tricks" series.
