Sporting an IMDb (Internet Movie Database) rating of 8.2, the critically acclaimed, 2015 documentary, Racing Extinction will be shown at the Watershed Center on August 7th as part of their First Sunday Film Environmental Film series.  The Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS) employs covert tactics and state-of-the-art technology to expose two industries responsible for wiping out species. The goal of the film is to help us all see how we can preserve life as we know it.

Films are shown free to the public at the new Watershed Center for Environmental Advocacy, Science and Education located at 31 Titus Mill Road in Pennington. Movie goers are treated to free organic, locally sourced popcorn and are invited to hike the more than 10 miles of trails on the 930 acre Watershed Reserve. The Watershed Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
