Westminster Conservatory Presents "Of Foreign Lands and People", Bristol Chapel
On Sunday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m., Westminster Conservatory will present "Of Foreign Lands and People," a recital of music by Robert Schuman and others for solo piano and piano four-hands. The performers are Conservatory faculty members Galina Prilutskaya and Inessa Gleyzerova Shindel. The concert will take place in Bristol Chapel, 101 Walnut Lane, Princeton, New Jersey, 08540. Admission is free and masking is recommended. The program on Jan. 22 comprises movements from Schumann's opus 85 collection Zwölf Klavierstücke für kleine und grosse Kinder; movements from his opus 21 Novelletten for solo piano; a four-hand arrangement of Haydn's String Quartet in F opus 72, no. 2; and four-hand settings of The Last Rose of Summer, Irish Tune from County Derry, and Edward Elgar's Salut d'amour.
