Apple Montessori Schools was thrilled to open its 20th location on January 2 as Apple Princeton officially welcomed students in Montessori programs beginning as early as six weeks! Apple in Princeton offers infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and summer camp programs as well as age-appropriate outdoor classrooms and plans for a saltwater swimming pool. Through our modern Montessori approach, nurturing educators, and multi-sensory materials, we promote academic achievement as well as social and emotional growth while nurturing the whole child.
Join us on Monday, January 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with the exception of the noon-1 p.m. hour) for an open house event taking place in Princeton in addition to all of our other locations. Pamela Barnett, the newest Dean at The College of New Jersey, will address this debate head-on. She will share her vision and related new initiatives at TCNJ for how education in the arts and communication matters for democracy and advancing the common good - with a specific focus on Trenton and underrepresented populations. Join the Arts Council of Princeton as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr with a free art-making workshop. Participants of all ages will spend ten minutes to create freely on a sheet of paper, allowing themselves to express their feelings without the constraints of perfection, rules, or judgment. Afterward, you’ll be challenged to tear up your paper and use the pieces to create a new collage that represents a different perspective, transforming it into something new. This exercise encourages conversations about changing perspectives and looking at things in a fresh way. Participation is free!
