"Hawk for a Day" sessions provide an immersive opportunity for boys (in current grades 1 through 7) to spend time with teachers and classmates and experience the community that makes Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart unique.
Concurrently, parents will have the opportunity to tour the school, meet faculty, parents and administrators, and hear from the founding Head of School, Olen Kalkus, about "Why All Boys." Olen will explore the growing body of research showing that boys learn and develop differently from girls and that single-gender programs are more educationally effective for boys than co-educational programs.

Music of the West African kora comes to Princeton Junction! Sean Gaskell features songs on the kora, a 21-stringed West African harp. He studied under the extensive instruction of Moriba Kuyateh and the late Malamini Jobarteh in Gambia, and both Youssoupha Cissokho and Mamadou Cissokho in Senegal. The kora is traditionally played by oral historians known as Griots. Many songs featured on the kora preserve an 800-year history dating back to the founding of the Mande empire. Gaskell has presented adult, youth and family programs at over 350 libraries and a multitude of K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and assisted living facilities throughout the United States and Canada.

It is time for car commercials with big red bows on top. Everyone is telling you to buy, or gift someone else, a new car - but maybe you should think about how to buy a car before you go out to make a purchase because of that commercial. This workshop will take you step by step into answering the questions that come with the purchase of a new car. Starting with whether you should buy any car, the way to think about the car that you should buy, whether you should finance a car, and whether you should lease a car. If you are going to buy a car, come watch this presentation first so that you don’t find yourself in buyer’s remorse with a purchase that might be costing you hundreds of dollars every month. Presented by Justin Hughes of Marg Financial.
