Winery Weekend Music Series, Terhune's

Join family and friends in our historic apple orchard this spring for our Winery Weekend Music Series. Grab a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, relax, and enjoy live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. Music plays from from 2pm-5pm.

With 17 varieties of wine made with Terhune’s own grapes as well as three wines from our apple cider, tasting flights are a great way to sample the wide offerings. Warm up with delicious hot mulled wine. Our Barn Door Café will have light fare, while cheese plates and chips & salsa baskets are available at the winery. Perfect to enjoy with a glass of wine!

 No reservations are needed. No outside food or pets, please. Groups maximum of 8.

Camp Tours, Appel Farm Arts Camp

Appel Farm Arts Camp will ignite your creativity, kindness and confidence this summer! Check out our gender inclusive, overnight arts camp for ages 7-17. Program areas include music, theatre performance, theatre tech, dance, visual arts, photography, video, creative writing, sports and swim, and green corps. Campers are welcomed into a supportive, diverse community where friendship and acceptance are valued. Make the best friends of your life, develop your artistic talents, and experience independence, inspiration, and loads of fun. Explore arts and learning in a safe environment of community, personal growth, and fun! We do camp differently.

D&R Greenway Public Grand Opening, Discovery Center at Point Breeze

D&R Greenway Land Trust is pleased to welcome community members to the Public Opening of the new Discovery Center at Point Breeze on Saturday, May 20, 2023, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., 101 Park Street in Bordentown, NJ. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1:00 pm in front of the paneled mahogany doors at the entrance to the Discovery Center. Barbara ‘Blue Jay’ Michalski will offer a Lenape blessing. Bordentown City Mayor Jennifer Sciortino will be joined with State and local dignitaries to cut the ribbon, along with D&R Greenway President and CEO Linda Mead who oversaw the design of the new museum.

Members of the public are invited to the Public Grand Opening on May 20 to tour of the new Discovery Center and Historic Garden, view art and never-before-seen exhibits and a Delaware River sturgeon sculpture by artist Kate Graves.

CMS Kids: Exploring Dvorák, Princeton University Concerts

Princeton University Concerts ("PUC") welcomes The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center ("CMS") back to Princeton for the final family program of the 2022-23 season— "CMS Kids: Exploring Dvo?ák," curated for kids ages 3-6 and their families. Performances will take place on Saturday, May 20 at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM in the Lee Rehearsal Room at the Lewis Arts Complex. Host Rami Vamos and the professional musicians of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will guide audiences in an exploration of the theme of identity through Antonín Dvo?ák's Quartet in E-flat Major for Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 87. This inclusive concert experience is adapted for neurodiverse audiences, including children with autism or other special needs. The performance is presented in a judgment-free environment, and is less formal and more supportive of sensory, communication, movement, and learning needs.

Tickets for Princeton University Concerts' family programs go quickly and are only $5 for children and $10 for adults. Tickets are available at puc.princeton.edu, or by phone at 609-258-9220 (Mon-Fri, 11AM-4PM).

Colors of Indian Music, West Windsor Arts Council
