Pennington School Upper School On-Campus Experience

Families interested in grades 9 through 12 are invited to visit campus on a Friday morning for a two-hour peek into Pennington! Hear from current students, sit in and experience a class, and spend time with our administration and leadership team!

Registration is limited; all visitors coming to campus for class visits must be vaccinated, complete an online health screening prior to arrival, and wear masks inside School buildings at all times.

Open House, Princeton Learning Cooperative

PLC is a full-time program for teens that is a blend of homeschooling and school. We combine the most valuable parts of school—peers, classes and mentors—with personalized attention and the flexibility for teens to choose what and how they learn. For teenagers frustrated with conventional school, PLC can be life-changing. Come to our open house to see PLC in action and to meet our staff and members. Opening Reception, Friends of Princeton Open Space Photo Exhibition

Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) is presenting a group show hosted by Small World Coffee of photographs taken at Princeton's Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve in the winter of 2020. The works will be shown at Small World's location on Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton. The show includes photos selected from submissions made to the Friends of Princeton Open Space's annual Give Thanks for Nature Photo Contest, as well as aerial photographs of the Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve taken by Princeton photographer Frank Sauer. All photos will be offered for sale with a portion of the sales benefitting the Friends of Princeton Open Space.

In the backyard of her father’s house, 25-year-old Catherine has been caring for her father who was a brilliant and mentally ill mathematician. Now that he has passed, his former student, Hal, and her sister, Claire, have come to collect Catherine and the remains of her father’s legacy. Has he left anything brilliant? Has his illness/genius passed down to her? Theater senior Juliana Pulsinelli ’22 leads the ensemble as Catherine in this Pulitzer Prize-winning play exploring family, grief, emotional and mental health and fragility, and genius. Directed by faculty member Vivia Font.

Chris Pierce, Hopewell Theater

Chris Pierce developed a rare hearing disorder at age 15, but it did not deter him from re-learning everything he knew prior to his condition so that he could continue playing music. Chris has done multiple headlining tours and has also performed on stage with or opened worldwide tours for: Seal, Cold War Kids, B.B. King, Al Green, Sara Bareilles, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Jill Scott, Toots and the Maytals, Colbie Caillat, Buddy Guy, Keb’Mo’, Blind Boys of Alabama, Aaron Neville, Jamie Cullum and others. His voice and music have been heard in film and television shows including: A Million Little Things, This is Us, True Blood, Soundtrack, Crash, Rosewood, Soul Men, Brothers & Sisters, Single Ladies, Eli Stone, In Plain Sight, Dawson's Creek, Army Wives, as well as in national ad campaigns.
