French American School of Princeton is hosting an Open Classroom Day for prospective parents on February 15 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity to see bilingual education in action. Visit classrooms of all grades, from preschool (aged 30 months) to 8th grade. The admissions staff and Head of School will be there to answer all your questions. Ma Bell y Yo: Celebrating Latino Contributions at AT&T New Jersey, Morven Museum & Garden

Join Morven Museum & Garden, the Newark Public Library, HISPA, and HACEMOS for a special program celebrating the many contributions of Latinos throughout the history of AT&T. The program will also mark the journey of Hispanics Inspiring Students' Performance and Achievements (HISPA) and today's employee resource group at AT&T, HACEMOS.

All are invited to share in the celebration! The program will feature: - A hybrid (offered both in-person and virtually) panel conversation with past and present Latino AT&T Bell Labs scientists and engineers, including: Yvonne Shepard (YMS & Associates) - attending virtually; Dr. Jorge Valdes (USPTO); Dr. Alicia Abella (Google Cloud); Pedro Mirabal (AT&T); Dr. Ivonne Diaz-Claisse (CEO of HISPA); and Mayra Caceres (Current President of AT&T HACEMOS NJ) - Opportunities for Latino leaders who worked for AT&T, or still work for AT&T, to share memorabilia and anecdotes with the NJ Hispanic Research & Information Center (NJHRIC) - Visits to Morven's current exhibition Ma Bell: The Mother of Invention in New Jersey - Light refreshments and networking

Join Chris Blessing, MPT, OCS, CSCS and MS, with Princeton Medical Center Princeton Rehabilitation, for a look at the physiology of stretching, as well as a demonstration and review of common stretching techniques for various parts of the body.

The Life of Belle da Costa Greene, Mercer County Library

Jeanne Johnson, docent at Princeton University Art Museum and Morven Museum and Garden, presents the story of Belle da Costa Greene. While cataloging and working with rare books at the Princeton University library, her work impressed the nephew of New York millionaire J. Pierpont Morgan, financier and investment banker of the late 1800s. Morgan hired Greene for the newly constructed Pierpont Morgan Library in 1906, which eventually led to her directorship of the Morgan Museum and Library, where she worked for more than 43 years, internationally known for her auction bidding expertise. Years after her death, knowledge that Greene passed as white for her entire professional life became known, explored and discussed.
