Events04/05/2026: Bunny Trail Spring Festival @Terhune's Celebrate the arrival of spring at Terhune Orchards’ Bunny Trail Spring Festival, held Easter weekend (April 4 & 5) from 10 am to 4 pm. This family-friendly, non-competitive event invites guests to follow a treasure hunt through the blooming farm, ending with a prize and an optional bunny craft activity. Have a great time playing on the farm- children can enjoy a variety of activities, including: visiting the hippity hop corral, pony rides, duckie races, and the tractor play area. Don’t miss interactive games like hopscotch and hula hoops. Hungry visitors can head to the Farm Food Pavilion for homemade treats like apple cider donuts, chili, and pies, while adults can enjoy wine tastings at the Vineyard and Winery. Admission tickets should be purchased online in advance. It’s the perfect way to welcome the season with live music and outdoor fun! Please note that food, pony rides, and craft activities require an additional fee. Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines hands-on farm activity with your young child followed by an education program with stories highlighting the fruit or farm area. For Earth Day, we welcome young farmers to celebrate planting time, gardens and nature bounty. We will be reading books highlighting gardening and growing followed by an educational component. Then everyone will be a farmer and plant seeds to take home. The cost is $12.00 per child and includes the activity. There are two sessions on Tuesdays at 9:30 am and 11 am, lasting about one hour. Online pre-purchase of tickets is required. 04/23/2026: Wine & Design - Sips & Make Your Own Planter Night @Terhune's Spring time is the perfect time for making herb and annual planters. If you plan to fit more greens into 2021, Terhune Orchards is here for you. We have fresh lettuce daily, grown in our greenhouse, and spinach as well as zesty mixed greens from our high tunnels. Our spinach was planted in the fall and grew in the protection of the high tunnel, so it's tender and full of nutrients. Over in our toasty greenhouse, we grow red and green leaf and red and green Boston lettuce as well as baby lettuce. We recommend that you purchase it in the pot, leave it on your counter, and harvest the leaves as you need them. Or, if you'd prefer, our farm store staff can harvest the head of lettuce from the pot when you buy it and you can take home a VERY freshly harvested head of lettuce!
