Join Anne Macaulay in a Learn-By-Doing Garden Workshop Series
Whether you are working with containers, pots, raised beds, a backyard plot or a community garden, home-grown vegetables and herbs are delicious and full of nutritional value. Growing a garden can get you, your family, and friends to eat more vegetables and may save you money as well as provide fresh air and exercise.
Join Anne Macaulay, Ph.D., a self-described “practical gardener” as she teaches the basics of vegetable gardening through this 8-part series. The program will be held once a month from February through September. (Yes, February is a great time to start planning the garden!)
Participants will learn everything from planning and soil preparation, what and when to plant, dealing with pests and finally harvesting and putting the garden to rest.
