Angela P. Dodson is an independent and former New York Times senior editor, writer and consultant. She has taught workshops on writing and editing for many organizations including the National Black Writers Conference, the National Association of Black Journalists, the American Press Institute, the American Society of Newspaper Editors and various colleges. She has also been an adjunct instructor in media studies at Mercer County Community College. Her book, published in 2017, is about the woman’s suffrage movement in the United States and women’s political gains up to the present.
