Annual Holiday Boutique, Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie

Holiday shoppers and art and craft lovers are invited to the Holiday Boutique at Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Saturday, November 19, from noon to 6pm and Sunday, November 20, from noon to 5pm. Back for the first time since 2019, the museum's festive Holiday Boutique will feature an array of vendors offering a wide variety of gifts, art, home decor, jewelry, clothing & accessories, pottery & woodcraft, Trenton memorabilia, and more. Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion is located in Trenton's historic Cadwalader Park off of Parkside Ave. Plenty of parking.

'In Celebration of Old Trees' Art Show Opening, Terhune's

Local artists exhibit paintings of the venerable apple trees at Terhune Orchards. Thirty-four paintings and photographs by noted local artists will tell the story of the century-old apple trees at the original Terhune farm. The exhibit brings to light the effects of climate change and focuses on how trees act as a buffer against climate change.

The Art Show Opening at Terhune Orchards, home of the century-old apple trees, is Nov 19th. From 1-3pm on Nov 19th -come meet the artists and view more than 30 pieces of art inspired by Terhune Orchards apple trees. The art will be up for viewing in Barn Door Cafe at Terhune Orchards 12-5 pm Saturdays and Sundays Nov 19th - Dec 11th. Some of the artwork will be available for sale when the exhibit ends in December.

Campus Collections Outdoor Walking Tours, Princeton University Art Museum

Join a guided walking tour of the campus collections with an Art Museum guide and discover a variety of artworks by modern and contemporary sculptors, from Henry Moore to Maya Lin. Learn about materials and techniques and explore elements of design and balance. We offer one-hour tours of sculptures in two campus neighborhoods: Main Campus and Residential Colleges. All tours are held outdoors, rain or shine, and are stair-free. (Due to weather, tours are not offered December through February.)

Escape the Museum, Wicoff House Museum

Join us at the Wicoff House for this fun family event. You will be “locked” in the rooms of the historic Wicoff House with the ghosts of its former residents! Learn the stories of their lives to uncover clues and solve riddles so that you can escape before time runs out! Escape rooms best suited for children 8 and up.

Proceeds benefit the Wicoff House Museum Youth Advisory Council and the Friends of the Wicoff House. $5 per person, pay at door Includes: Escape Room admission, slice of pizza and drink, souvenir.

GSWS Art Sale Reception

Garden State Watercolor Society (GSWS) returns to 19 Hulfish St., Palmer Square, Princeton, again this year for their pop-up Art Sale. Up to 40 member artists will display a large assortment of original artwork, framed and unframed. Variety of media in addition to watercolor will satisfy anyone’s taste or style to round-out an art collection with modest prices and nearly 500 choices.

The Art Sale will run for three consecutive weekends beginning Thursday, November 17th, and continuing with a Thursday to Sunday schedule, to Sunday, December 4th. The hours are Thursday, Friday: 10am–8:30pm, Saturday: 10:00am–6:00pm; and Sunday, 12:00–5:00pm. (Closed on Thanksgiving.) Admittance is FREE. A reception will be held on Friday, November 19th from 5:30–8:30pm.

The location is directly across Hulfish Street from Nassau Inn and Skating on the Square which also begins on the 19th. It is also near the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony on November 25th.
