This film combines documentary and scripted elements while following members of the close-knit former mining community of Bisbee, Arizona, as they commemorate the centennial of the forced deportation of immigrant miners. During the Bisbee Deportation, 1,200 immigrants were violently removed from their homes by a deputized force, shipped to the desert on cattle cars and left to die.
