This presentation recounts the very human story of those men who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence. This is the story of Americans in the ranks of the army, men of every size, shape, and color, simple farmers, teachers, tradesmen, and mere boys turned into soldiers. These were the men that stayed with the Army and did not quit. They stayed because their commanding officer, General George Washington did not quit!
