20th Anniversary Gala, CASAf or Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties

It is with great excitement we invite you to join us in the celebration of CASA for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties for the 20th Anniversary! The Gala is on Friday, June 17, 2022 beginning at 6:00 pm at The Boathouse At Mercer Lake. The Boathouse at Mercer Lake is a newly renovated gorgeous lakefront event space in Mercer County Park located in West Windsor, New Jersey. Overlooking lush park greenery and a picturesque lake.

For your ticket cost of $250, your ticket includes a live music reception with hors d'oeuvres, free alcohol, dinner, entertainment, an auction, and more.

Comedic Opera - Albert Herring, Princeton Festival

Princeton Festival – Benjamin Britten's comic opera Albert Herring, a humorous coming-of-age tale with the title character finding himself named May King when no maidens are to be found. Chaos ensues when the celebration lemonade is spiked. Rossen Milanov conducts. This production is sung in English with English titles. Free pre-performance talk at 5pm.

ACP'S Story & Verse Outdoor Summer Series, Pettoranello Gardens

The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) and African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County (AACCMC) announce that their monthly Story & Verse open mic will head outdoors for its Summer Series. Beginning Friday, June 17, these poetic and storytelling events will be held at Pettoranello Gardens and are free and open to all.

Story & Verse was established in February 2020 and has continued monthly since. Taking place in the Arts Council’s Solley Theater throughout the year, Story & Verse welcomes local and regional talent to perform original works inspired by a monthly theme, providing attendees with free, community-created entertainment. The Summer Series marks the return to Pettoranello Gardens, welcoming one and all to enjoy live performance by our talented community members in a beautiful outdoor setting. Story & Verse is held in collaboration with the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County.
