Freedom Song: One Family’s Struggle with Addiction; One Nation’s Path to Recovery

Jewish Family & Children’s Service and The Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks, along with close to a dozen synagogues, organizations and donors in greater Mercer and Bucks Counties, are pleased to announced the presentation of “Freedom Song,” a transformative musical that interweaves the story of Passover and personal stories of addiction. The performance will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the NJ Hospital Association Conference Center, 760 Alexander Road, Princeton, NJ. The program is free and open to the community. Teens, young adults, and parents of all faiths are welcome to attend.

Princeton Pro Musica Presents Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor

The Princeton Pro Musica opens its 2019-20 season with an all-Mozart concert featuring his Great Mass in C Minor and his Clarinet Concerto. Guest artists Clara Rottsolk and Molly Netter join the PPM 100+ member chorus and orchestra and Maestro Ryan James Brandau for the Great Mass, with its towering movements for double chorus and exquisite duets for two sopranos.

Franklin Woman’s Club 2019 Wine Tasting Fundraiser

According to NY Times writer and wine enthusiast Adam Davidson, “NJ is on its way to becoming the Napa Valley of the East Coast.” Why not see for yourself by attending the Franklin Woman’s Club 2019 Wine Tasting? Proceeds will be used to support the non – profit club’s operations, whose members volunteer to help local, national and international communities in need. The Franklin Woman’s Club Wine Tasting will feature a taste of six delicious wines, a light buffet dinner with dessert and a chance to win door prizes. All attendees will receive a coupon for 10% off bottled wine purchased at the event or a FREE wine tasting on a future visit.

“Jewish Ghost Stories”, Beth El Synagogue

On Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 7:00 pm, the Beth El Synagogue of East Windsor Women's League presents an evening of animated story-telling and open discussion, presented by Dr. Simcha Raphael. Learn about the afterlife according to Jewish folk religion and mysticism by entering the invisible worlds populated by ghosts, lost souls, haunting spirits, dybbukim, and heavenly angelic guides.
