Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society for a free, public birding trip led by Brad Merritt at several spots around the Stokes State Forest Area.

Directions: Trip involves numerous stops near Stokes State Forest. We will leave the Princeton area at 7:00 AM, carpooling to minimize the number of cars. Either meet at Princeton Shopping Center off Harrison Street or at Stokes State Forest Office, about one mile North of Culvers Lake. You must register in advance with Brad Merritt at (609) 921-8964 prior to the trip.

D&R Greenway’s Native Plant Sale

D&R Greenway’s Native Plant Nursery is dedicated to restoring a rich diversity of native flora to the local landscape. We supply plants for ecological restoration projects, school projects and to the general public for use in home gardens. The Nursery stocks over 50 species of native plants, which are essential for native wildlife and for ecosystem function. These include trees, shrubs, perennial wildflowers, grasses, sedges & ferns. These plants are purchased from reputable native plant growers.

Celebration of the Arts - Hamilton Jewelers Watch Fair Event

Hamilton Jewelers, Princeton Palm Beach, in partnership with the Arts Council of Princeton, announces "The Art of Time" - a live fundraising WATCH FAIR event - featuring watches, art exhibit, prints, t-shirts and more, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Hamilton's Princeton headquarters, located at 92 Nassau Street.

Raising awareness of arts in the Princeton community, regional artists will have the opportunity to have their work seen by thousands of attendees during the WATCH FAIR exhibition.

Princeton-based acclaimed artist, Linda Zacks, is creating the limited edition art collectibles -- prints, and high quality t-shirts -- that will be sold during the event. Zacks' work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications worldwide, and has had limited edition books in the MoMa Design Store and The International Center of Photography.

Do the Loop: A National Trails Day Bike Ride and Picnic - Friends of the Delaware Canal

ArtWalk, West Windsor Arts Center

The ArtWalk is a chance to get the family together for a healthy activity that will feature art activities, games, a family picnic, music, and more! Hike the Crossing, Washington Crossing State Park

This is a naturalist-guided 3.5- 4 mile hike taking on the park's natural and historic areas, and several interesting and remote sections of the park. Bring drinking water and a snack. This hike is being offered in cooperation with the American Hiking Society's National Trails Day event. Advanced registration required. Park vehicle entrance fee applies $5.00/vehicle.

Waves and Ripples Artist Talk and Opening Reception, Arts Council of Princeton

Join the Arts Council of Princeton for an Artist Talk and Opening Reception for Waves and Ripples, a dual exhibition featuring painters Ting Ting Hsu and Livia Mosanu. "This project is a celebration of water and a metaphor for life and human emotions. Water is tumultuous, mysterious and beautiful. Just like life, it comes in big unexpected waves and gentle calming ripples. We seek to capture these qualities on canvas and invite our viewers to take a moment and reflect on our connection with this vital natural resource. The exhibition also aims to foster a dialog regarding water as the quintessential component of life."

We vs. C - Roxey Ballet

Roxey Ballet, in partnership with numerous local nonprofit organizations, will perform an ongoing project, first performed in 2017 privately at Grounds for Sculpture, and now debuting locally this year: WE vs C: Stories of Triumph Over Breast Cancer. WE vs C: Stories of Triumph Over Breast Cancer is a collaboration of dance, music, art, and theater celebrating the lives of breast cancer survivors. It is a song-cycle/ballet and theatre event conceived and created by Mark Roxey with original music by songwriting team Robert Maggio and Matthew Hardy, with choreography by Mark Roxey.
