Outdoor Storytime at Princeton Shopping Center

This interactive storytime features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids 18 months and older, accompanied by an adult. Bring a blanket.
Registration is not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the storytime. This program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather. Check the website for updates.
Your Guide to a Healthy and Happy Home Program, MCLS

Join us at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch on Tuesday, August 13 at 2:00 pm and take a step towards a healthier home and a happier life. During Happiness Happens Month, we invite Environmental Specialist Matthew Manthey and Public Health Nurse Georgeanne Taylor to inform us about creating safer living environments. Topics include indoor air quality, mold prevention, proper ventilation, and safe cleaning practices. This presentation empowers participants to identify and mitigate home hazards, promoting health and overall well-being. This program is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library and the Lawrence Township Health Department.

Acclaimed photographer Dave Burwell presents an interactive workshop to help participants learn how to take better photos, regardless of the camera or smartphone you use. The workshop focuses on how to apply the principles of visual design and composition to dramatically improve your photos. Attendees will learn the composition tools that professional photographers use every day. These tips and tools will significantly advance your photographic skills and help you have more fun with photography.
