Moving Forward 5K Run/5K Walk, The WorkWell Partnership

The WorkWell Partnership is proud to announce our Inaugural Moving Forward 5k Run and 5k Walk which will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 9:00 am on the beautiful ETS campus in Princeton, NJ. Whether you are a competitive runner, participating in your first 5K, or simply out to walk or run with your friends and the community at your own pace, this event will be sure to please! All proceeds raised from this event will support the mission of The WorkWell Partnership: Working together to equip returning citizens with job skills, dignity, and hope.

Pop-Up Children’s Used Books Sale, Princeton Shopping Center

The Bryn Mawr Wellesley Book Sale is holding a pop up children's book sale event on Saturday, October 15 from 9 - 5 at the Princeton Shopping Center. Admission is free and prices start at 50 cents. Books are suitable for infants to tweens and are in excellent condition.

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

The WWCFM accepts SNAP/EBT and offers matching incentives towards fruit & vegetable purchases (up to $20 per market day). Fall Family Fun Weekends, Terhune's

Revolutionary Encampment @ West Windsor History Museum

Autumn Encampment & Market, Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA)

Travel back in time and experience life in a Revolutionary War camp during Washington Crossing Historic Park’s (PA) annual Autumn Encampment & Market on Saturday, Oct. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. During this event, colonial townspeople will gather in the historic village to sell their wares, soldiers will drill 18th-century military tactics, and the park’s fife and drum corps will perform throughout the day. Families will enjoy a wide array of activities including crafts, cooking demonstrations, and one-on-one interaction with colonial reenactors.

Tickets are available online at WashingtonCrossingPark.org/events or at the gate on the day of the event. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free for those under five, active duty military, and park members. A $20 family ticket is available for two adults and two children under 18 living in the same household. Admission to Bowman’s Hill Tower is free that day with an event wristband. This is a rain or shine event.
