Kids Summer Movie Series @PPL - "Deep"

After their colony is accidentally destroyed, an octopus named Deep, an angler fish named Evo and a sea shrimp named Alice embark on a journey across the ocean to find a new home. Along the way, they make new friends and encounter dangerous predators.

ACP'S Story & Verse Outdoor Summer Series, Pettoranello Gardens

The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) and African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County (AACCMC) announce that their monthly Story & Verse open mic will head outdoors for its Summer Series. Beginning Friday, June 17, these poetic and storytelling events will be held at Pettoranello Gardens and are free and open to all.

Story & Verse was established in February 2020 and has continued monthly since. Taking place in the Arts Council’s Solley Theater throughout the year, Story & Verse welcomes local and regional talent to perform original works inspired by a monthly theme, providing attendees with free, community-created entertainment. The Summer Series marks the return to Pettoranello Gardens, welcoming one and all to enjoy live performance by our talented community members in a beautiful outdoor setting. Story & Verse is held in collaboration with the African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County.

Movie Nights on the Green – Encanto

Enjoy a family-friendly outdoor movie under the stars on Palmer Square! Join us for a screening of Encanto on Friday, July 15th.

Come early for upscale shopping and enjoy al fresco dining before the show or pick up a meal to bring to the Green! Free admission.

Bring your own blanket or lawn chair for your group - Conveniently park in the Hulfish or Chambers Street Garages for $5 after 4pm. Movies will begin at dusk!

Staff from Princeton Public Library will be on Palmer Square starting at 7:30 pm with kid-friendly activities and information about the “Oceans of Possibilities” being offered through the library’s annual summer reading program. So come early and join the fun before the movie!
