Across numerous mediums, art produces beauty and fun in many of our lives. Did you know that creating art also contributes to physical, mental, and emotional health across the lifespan? Join this interactive webinar to learn about multiple health benefits of practicing creativity at any age, with special focus given to art for preventing and coping with stress. Dennis Thomas' Magical Spring Garden Bug Show, MCLS

In the Magical Spring Garden Bug Show we look and learn about some of the bugs we find in the garden. We'll learn what Grasshoppers like to eat, turn a Caterpillar into a Butterfly and look inside a Beehive in search of bees. We might even fry up some Worms to eat and look at Mr. Dennis's Big Bug Collection.

Based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, the program's structured educational approach offers mindfulness meditation and gentle yoga as the core of its program to guide people to take better care of themselves and to live healthier and more adaptive lives. MBSR provides training in meditation, mindful-yoga, and relaxation to mobilize your mind/body resources to work with stress, pain, and illness in new ways that can promote growth and healing. Panel: College Without High School, Princeton Learning Cooperative

Can people who take a non-conventional approach to learning during their teenage years thrive in a conventional college setting? Yes!

This online panel event will include people who chose a non-conventional path for all or part of high school and who are currently attending or have graduated from college. They will describe their high school education and how they managed the transition to college and the workforce. Q&A to follow.
