Veggie Basics 1: Planning the Vegetable Garden and Starting Seeds

H2O Quest: Groundhog Day - The Watershed

Explore the Watershed Reserve, map in hand, in search of clues to find Wally the Woodchuck. This program is part treasure hunt, part nature hike, and plenty of imaginative fun. Meet the naturalists, try your hand at chucking wood with a catapult or trebuchet, and search for groundhog holes on this festive winter morning. Each group will remain together, practicing social distancing. Dress for the weather and wear your hiking boots as we celebrate winter and look forward to the return of spring. Ages 5 and up. In-person program. Masks, social distancing, and adult attendance required. Discount available for members.

Restoring Civility and Bringing Social Justice to American Life, Friends of Princeton Public Library

The Friends of Princeton Public Library host Ralph Nader, legendary consumer advocate, Richard Cordray, former director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, in conversation with Princeton’s own Carl Mayer, on Saturday January 30, 2021 at 11 am via Zoom. Special guest Andy Shallal, founder of Busboys and Poets, will prepare select dishes from Nader’s new cookbook. These lifelong advocates for social justice will share their vision for a more just, egalitarian and united America.
