Birding Field Trip, Washington Crossing Audubon Society

Join Washington Crossing Audubon Society from 8:30 AM – noon on Saturday, February 1 for a free, public birding trip led by Mark Witmer and Brad Merritt at Round Valley Reservoir in Hunterdon County, NJ. Surrounding a 4000 acre, 180-foot deep reservoir, Round Valley is a popular year-round recreation site and winter site for bald eagles, various waterfowl and gulls. Depending on weather, we will also tour the adjacent Cushetonk Mountain Nature Preserve or nearby Spruce Run Recreation Area. About Beethoven Lives Upstairs: When his mother rents their vacant room to a peculiar composer, 10-year-old Christoph can’t believe his bad luck. But as the abrasive boarder, Ludwig van Beethoven, begins creating his masterful Ninth Symphony, Christoph is won over by the majesty of his music. This lighthearted family drama was awarded the 1993 Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Program.
