Youth Charity Organization (YCO), a Mercer County-based group providing philanthropy and leadership opportunities for high school students, will hold its inaugural 5k Festival to support Attitudes In Reverse® (AIR™) on National Make a Difference Day, Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Rosedale Community Park, 424 Federal City Rd, Pennington, NJ.
Check-in at the October 26th event will begin at 9:00 a.m. The race will start at 10:00 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:15 a.m. The event will also feature live music by Sonoa, whose debut album, Waves of Change, is available on Spotify. Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler announces the opportunity to dispose of unneeded and expired prescription drugs during the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The goal is to help local residents to rid their medicine cabinets of unused and easily abused opioid painkillers, in addition to any other unneeded prescription medications.
Mercer County residents can easily dispose of unused and expired prescription pills, by bringing them to the parking lot across from the Mercer County Administration Building at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton, between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Syringes, sharp instruments, or liquid solutions not accepted.
