Kindergarten Readiness Workshop for Parents, Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart

Monday May 13, 2019
9:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Is my son ready for kindergarten? This question is often on the minds of parents and the topic of many articles in the news media. Join us for a parent workshop about kindergarten readiness and boys including a special tour of our Kindergarten Suite! Hear from Princeton Academy's Head of Lower School Paris McLean and Founding Kindergarten Teacher Suzanne Kazi who will answer questions like:

How do I know if my son is ready to begin kindergarten; Should he be reading and writing; Know his alphabet and numbers; There is a theory about "red-shirting" and boys - is there an advantage to waiting to send my son to kindergarten; What are the benefits of an all-boys' kindergarten versus co-ed?
