Stream Cleanups, The Watershed Institute

Join us for Earth Day celebrations on the upcoming Saturdays of April 6 and 13. Volunteers will help remove trash, litter, and debris from local rivers and streams at our 13th Annual Stream Cleanups. Over the past twelve years, these efforts have helped remove more than 105,000 pounds (52.5 tons) of garbage with the help of 5,400 enthusiastic volunteers.

Walk-ins are welcome at this rain or shine event! We encourage wearing pants and closed toed footwear. Bring a reusable water bottle! Gloves and bags will be provided. Take home a Watershed Cleanup t-shirt as a memento!

Come along with Meredith into a playful world where children can't find their boots and everyone has a different kind of hair. Her original songs celebrate the spirit and sassiness of kids and invite them to discover the music that’s all around us. Milk & Cookies is a lively, interactive storytelling and music series for families. This program is the perfect way to introduce young children to live theater.

In Her Footsteps: How Women Shaped Princeton, Bainbridge House

Wiebke Martens and Jennifer Jang, authors of Discovering Princeton, lead a new tour dedicated to the contributions of women in the community. The walk includes an overview of Princeton’s history and focuses on some of the women who have helped make Princeton – both town and its namesake University – what it is today. Stops include the new Betsey Stockton Garden, Alexander Hall, and Dorothea’s House.
