Athletes Peak Sports Performance Program


Tony Rienzo, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the Lawrenceville School, has been working with athletes of all ages and skill for 12 years. Strength and Speed are the key factors to improving athleticism. Small group training as well as individualized personal training is available depending on your needs. Camps will help to improve strength, agility, quickness, speed, explosiveness, reaction time, as well as help to prevent injuries. Athletes will learn to become faster and more explosive by learning the correct techniques and mechanics of running. Athletes Peak offers sports performance programs year round, divided into 4 seasons: Summer (June – Aug.), Fall(Sept. – Nov.), Winter (Dec. – Feb.)and Spring (March – May). Peddie School


Mike Volkmar, strength and conditioning coach at Peddie, works with teams and individuals, elite athletes and novice exercisers to set and achieve training goals. Peddie Strength & Speed summer program offers high school and college athletes the opportunity to pursue individual training goals under the direction of a professional. Working with no more than eight student-athletes per session, Coach Volkmar runs 75-minute sessions based on individual strength levels and goals, combining the motivational and competitive value of group training with the benefit of personalized instruction and attention. Peddie's Ian H. Graham '50 Athletic Center holds 6,900 square feet of free weights and aerobic equipment with 900 square feet of turf for speed and agility workouts. Highlights of the center's state-of-the-art equipment include free motion "health club style" strength machines, 4 abdominal/lower back benches, a TRX "Swing Set", Keiser Triple Trainer, and spin bikes.
