Our focus on academic excellence in a nurturing environment encourages children to become creative, effective problem-solvers, innovators, and good citizens of the world. At PJS, children are at the heart of a loving community, where excellent teachers are dedicated to helping each child reach his fullest potential, from age 2 through fifth grade. Classrooms are rich with literature, science, and art projects. Special" classes (in art, music, technology, sports, literature, and environmental education) are interwoven with classroom curriculum, providing a variety of hands-on experiences. PJS is one of only a handful of preschools that offers a dedicated classroom for two-year-olds, because we want to plant the seeds of imagination and a lifetime love of learning as early as we can. Our School's philosophy of education teaches children to build on core knowledge from year to year, increasing the depth and strength of that knowledge as they mature.

The Lewis School Of Princeton

609-924-8120

Founded in 1973, The Lewis School is among the earliest groups of educators in the country to innovate, develop and implement curriculum-wide multisensory education, science-based student assessments, and neuroscience-based teacher training within a structured and nurturing traditional school environment. The School’s philosophy is best described by its founder, Marsha Lewis, "At The Lewis School, learning problems are understood, not as disabilities, but as differences: the expression of remarkable and diverse capacities of human thinking and perceptions. The purpose of a Lewis School education is to prepare students, who may struggle with language-based learning issues related to dyslexia, attention deficit and auditory processing, to thrive academically, as they learn to restore the confidence and self-esteem they need to achieve their scholastic and personal best.”
