The Pennington School is an independent, coeducational school for 525 students in grades 6 through 12, with both day and boarding programs. The current student body represents over 40 countries, and about 30% receive financial assistance. The challenging and innovative curriculum is college preparatory, with a strong emphasis on fostering the development of the whole student through academics, athletics, community service, and the creative and performing arts. Pennington offers two, two-year special certificate programs in Global Studies and Applied Science. There are also small, selective programs for international students and for bright students with language-based learning differences. Faculty members are noted for their dedication to the learning process of all students, and for honoring the varied perspectives of the diverse student body, which contribute to the entire educational experience.
