"Gardens of the Arts and Crafts Movement", a Lecture, Morven Museum and Garden April 20, 2011

Morven Museum and Garden, located at 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, is holding a lecture called Gardens of the Arts and Crafts Movement, featuring landscape historian Judith Tankard, on Wednesday, April 20th at 11:00 am in the Garden Room at Morven.  Ms. Tankard will speak about the creative era of design known as the Arts and Crafts Movement, an early 20th century garden history period which has particular significance to Morven. A light lunch will immediately follow the lecture.  

Judith B Tankard is an art historian specializing in landscape history. Author of 8 books, including volumes on Gertrude Jekyll, Ellen Shipman, and Beatrix Farrand, she taught garden history at the Landscape Institute of Harvard University for over 20 years and was awarded a Gold Medal by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. Tickets are $40 members and $45 non-members and can be obtained by calling 609-924-8144 ext 106. Space is limited and parking is free.
