Mill Hill Holiday House Tour December 3, 2011

Mill Hill Holiday House Tour

(at various locations in Mill Hill)

Noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2011  Art All Night Logo

About 15-20 homes in the neighborhood will swing open their doors and invite people to come in from the cold to take a look around. The tour begins at Artworks, located at 19 Everett Alley and South Stockton Street

While the streetscape in Mill Hill presents a unified façade of row houses, inside you'll find that every property is stunningly unique. During the neighborhood's on-going restoration process, the interiors of many of Mill Hill's properties have developed into modern, sometimes sleek, often open, but always inspiring spaces: two story dining rooms, balconies overlooking open living rooms ... In these 19th century houses, the juxtaposition of old and new molds seamlessly into one.

The Capital Singers of Trenton will be performing a 20-minute concert of seasonal selections at the following times and places.

1:15 p.m. Artworks
2:00 p.m. The Labor Lyceum Lobby
2:45 p.m. The Trent House
3:30 p.m. Sacred Heart Church

Mill Hill Holiday House tour ticket holders will also be able to tour the nearby 1719 William Trent House Museum, dressed for the holidays by the Garden Club of Trenton, linger in the garden and on the grounds, browse in the gift shop and get a jump start on holiday decorations at the Trent House Association's annual Wreath and Greens Sale.
