Josh Slocum, nationally known expert on funeral issues and activist on behalf of consumers, will speak at the Annual Conference of the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Princeton (FCAP). His talk, entitled "Bringing the Funeral Industry into the 21st Century," will take place at 2 PM on Sunday, April 23.

The Abbey, part of the old St. Joseph's Seminary, is an architectural gem newly opened to the public. An hour before Mr. Slocum's talk, Katherine Walden, manager of the Abbey, will give a free tour of the Abbey.

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

We'll tidy up the areas adjacent to Railroad and Greenwood Avenues, Division Street, Mapleton Road and Ridge Road in Kingston. In addition to the inevitable tossed and blown litter, we will be removing some larger trash that is not only unsightly, but could also pose hazards to wildlife.

Parking for the event is along Railroad Avenue off Ridge Road. Grabbers, gloves, orange vests, and bags will be provided. For more information, please call 609-683-0483 or visit http://www.kingstongreenways.org/.

**Coming from US 1, head west towards Kingston on Ridge Road (Doubletree Hotel is on the corner of this intersection), and take the first left on Railroad Avenue.
**From Route 27, turn onto Heathcote Road and go a quarter mile to just beyond the intersection of Heathcote, Ridge and Division, then turn right on Railroad Avenue.

Sunday April 23, 2017
3:00 PM

Do you have questions about the impact of our changing climate? Wondering how to get through the hype to the facts? Kathleen Biggins, journalist and co-founder of C-Change Conversations, will address these questions at the annual meeting of the Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) on Sunday, April 23, at 3 pm at Mountain Lakes House, 57 Mountain Avenue, Princeton. Her talk, "What We Need to Know About Our Changing Climate," is a concise, nonpartisan, scientifically based presentation created to answer the five questions that the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication says are held by Americans across the political spectrum: How do we know it's real? How do we know it is us? What do scientists think? What are the dangers? And, is there hope we can address it?
