Come and enjoy a day of Dragon Boat Races, Music, Vendors, Auction, Food and Fun!!  Community, Breast Cancer Survivor and Club teams still have time to register.  No experience or equipment needed.  Volunteers and sponsorships welcome!  Proceeds support breast cancer patients, survivors and rehabilitation through  local programs.

The Johnson Park (JP) Elementary School P.T.O. is gearing up to host the second Gorilla Gallop! JP is hosting this family-fun event to promote healthy lifestyles for JP families and our entire Princeton community. The event will include an officially-timed 5K, a 1-mile run/walk, and a fun-run for the little ones.

Proceeds from this event directly benefit JP’s P.T.O. Residency Programs for our pupils. Our residency programs provide curriculum-based activities for all grades and involve every child several times a year in learning experiences in the arts and science.

You will learn about Camera Settings, including  the relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO and how and when to use Aperture Priority Mode, Shutter Priority Mode and Manual Mode. You will leave this class with greater confidence to take better pictures with your digital camera.

Flag Day Presentation, Washington Crossing State Park NJ

Stanley Saperstein will perform a one man presentation as Francis Hopkinson, New Jersey Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Hopkinson, a member of the Congressional Marine Committee, claimed that he had created the Stars and Stripes. The presentation will be held in the Visitor Center Museum’s auditorium at 2:00 PM. A Park entrance fee applies.

The Visitor Center Museum can be reached from I-95 by taking the Trenton/Lambertville Exit (this is the first exit in New Jersey heading north and the last exit heading south). Continue north on Route 29 for 2 ½ miles and turn right at the first traffic light. Park Entrance will be on your left in a ½ mile. Enter the park and follow the signs to the Visitor Center Museum. Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) Annual Spring Concert. Sponsored by Princeton Violins, LLC GPYO presents its 57th Annual Spring Concert at Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium. GPYO will feature Concerto Competition Winner, Anna Gugliotta performing Edvard Grieg Piano Concerto, first movement.  

The Concert and Symphonic Orchestras will also present works by Beethoven, Berlioz, Borodin, Holst, Prokofiev,Suppe. under the batons of Dr. Arvin Gopal and Mr. Kawika Kahalehoe.  This concert will be a delight to all as well as an inspiration to upcoming musicians in the area. Pre-concert reception is at Nassau Presbyterian Church (in front of Richardson Auditorium) for all ticket holders from 5- 6:30pm.
