On Thursday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System will host the program Emerald Ash Borer: Treatment Options for Homeowners. The dreaded emerald ash borer is in our community and thousands of ash trees are now under threat. Pam Zipse, Outreach Coordinator of the Rutgers Urban Forestry Program of the NJ Agricultural Experiment Station and Nicholas Polanin, Agricultural Agent for Somerset County, will discuss options including a mechanism for evaluating the costs of treatment versus removal. Registration is suggested. Communications and creative professionals from throughout New Jersey are invited to a free presentation, "Tips and Tricks for Social Optimization", on Thursday, March 16 at Princeton University. The event is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association (NJ CAMA) and Princeton ACM/IEEE-CS.

The event will be held at the Princeton University Computer Science Building Large Auditorium, (Room CS 104, Olden and William Streets) and will begin with networking and refreshments at 7:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 8:00 p.m.

There is no charge for this event but registration is requested at www.njcama.org.
