38th Annual Dollhouse & Miniature Show & Sale, Hightstown Woman's Club

The Hightstown Woman's Club will be sponsoring its 38th Annual Dollhouse & Miniature Show & Sale at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 North Main Street, Hightstown on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and children under 12 is $3.

Twenty- five dealers from various areas such as New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and of course New Jersey , will be on hand displaying their wares. A king/queen sized hand crafted Yellow Brick Road quilt valued at $750 will be raffled by the Club this year for $3 a ticket. Door prizes will be available as well as a delicious lunch and tempting homemade cakes and cookies all sold to benefit the Woman's Club civic improvement projects. Build a Bee Abode Workshop, Tulpehaking Nature Center

The Mercer County Park Commission invites you to join the fight against declining bee populations by taking part in a Build a Bee Abode workshop on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Tulpehaking Nature Center. Participants will be provided with the knowledge and materials to create a bee-utiful bee home.

Workshop participants will join the nature center manager for a short presentation about native bees and techniques to attract them, and then take to the trails to collect the materials and construct these humble abodes to take home.

The Tulpehaking Nature Center is located at 157 Westcott Ave. in Hamilton.
