Trenton Children's Chorus
Hopewell, NJ (February 25, 2017) The Trenton Children's Chorus performed at the second annual Gospel Brunch to benefit the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM), the first African-American Museum in central New Jersey. The event was truly a community effort: hosted by the Sourland Conservancy and Stoutsburg Cemetery Association and held Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
The pews were filled, and the crowd enjoyed food and drinks donated by the Brothers Moon, Antimo's Italian Kitchen, Boro Bean, Bagel Barn, Hopewell Valley Bistro & Inn. Homemade specialties were also provided by members and trustees of both organizations. The successful event yielded over $6600 which will be used to convert the historic Mt. Zion AME Church on Hollow Road in Skillman to the museum. For more information about this important project, visit www.sourland.org
